Adult Tennis

We offer a variety of Adult Tennis Programs that run weekly throughout the year. Whether you are new to tennis, focusing on a specific area of your game or just want to meet new people, we have a program for you!

Tennis Programs

Our Adult Tennis Pathway has four pillars; Play, Learn, Practice, and Specialty. All programs Intermediate or higher require participants to complete a Tennis Assessment.

Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate, or High Intermediate/Advanced
 
Test your skills against one of RSC’s talented coaches in different point play scenarios. This weekly sign-up is sure to be a fun and fast paced workout that can get you some serious bragging rights! Can you beat the PRO? 
Ratio: 6-1
Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate, or High Intermediate/Advanced
Players learn technical and tactical skills through systematic instruction. Coaches will provide feedback and allow players to learn through a variety of drills and play opportunities.
Ages: 16 – 21
Playing Level:
This program is geared towards Novice and Intermediate players, however registration is open to players of all levels. 
 
RSC Club 21 is a new program designed for young adults aged 16 to 21, offering a seamless transition from junior to adult tennis programs. This initiative provides a welcoming and relaxed environment where players can enjoy the game, stay active, and connect with peers in their age group.

The program focuses on creating a social and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging participants to make tennis a lifelong activity. With a blend of fun games, challenging drills, and technical learning, Club 21 is perfect for players looking to enjoy the sport in a low-pressure, club-level setting.

Ratio: 4-1
Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate, or High Intermediate/Advanced
Players will be paired with a random partners and compete in doubles play. An RSC coach will rotate players on a timed basis, ensuring variety and partners and opponents. Round robins are a great way to meet new players and compete in fun and structured environment.
Ratio: 4 – 1 or 2 – 1
Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate, or High Intermediate/Advanced
The Fast 4 League features an exciting format where players compete in weekly matches of 2 out of 3 sets, each consisting of only 4 games. With unique rules like sudden death points at deuce and a 5-point tiebreaker, players accumulate points to compete for the championship title.
Ratio: 4 – 1
Playing Level: Intermediate or higher
This fun program features various games designed to enhance skills while ensuring an enjoyable workout. Games include Champion of the Court, Coach’s Apprentice, and many more, promoting both competition and camaraderie.
Ratio: 8 to 1

Level: Beginner

Designed for beginner tennis players who want to be introduced to the game and develop foundational skills. The course will use “Progressive Tennis” methodology which makes the game easier to play, more fun and will set you up for early success!

Level: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced

Live Ball offers an engaging doubles game. The game is coach fed , eliminating the need for serving. This allows you to play 4 times as many points and truly maximize your time on court ! The goal is to become the champions of the court by winning a series of points against challengers. This dynamic game provides a continuous workout and a fun environment to improve your tennis skills. Join us for an action-packed session that combines fitness and gameplay in an enjoyable setting.

Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate, or High Intermediate/Advanced
Participants will rotate through stations to work on specific skills before playing games and matches to test their abilities. Some sessions are extended to 90 minutes for enhanced practice and play opportunities.
Ratio: 4-1
Playing Level: Intermediate, or High Intermediate/Advanced
Players learn technical and tactical skills in a smaller group setting through systematic instruction. Due to the smaller group size, players are able to hone their skills and receive a high volume of shots and feedback.
Ratio: 2-1
Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate. High Intermediate/Advanced
Players are placed in a monthly box and compete in singles matches against players at a comparable skill level. Players contact their opponents directly and set their own match times. At the end of the month the top players are promoted and the bottom players are relegated to new boxes. This very popular ladder is great for meeting new players and testing yourself in singles match play. We have partnered with Tennis Canada so the ladder matches will now track everyone’s World Tennis ranking !

Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate. High Intermediate/Advanced
 
Serves are the most important part of tennis, yet players often neglect practice. This 30 minute weekly sign-up session will allow you to focus on your serve, aim at targets, and receive feedback from an RSC Coach. 
Ratio: 4 – 1
Playing Level: Intermediate or higher
This program focuses on improving match strategies for players. Participants will learn different methods to outsmart various opponents and will practice these strategies in real game situations.
Ratio: 6 – 1
Playing Level: All
This class focuses on hitting a high volume of balls while moving at a steady pace, providing a good workout without excessive pressure. It’s ideal for novice players and seniors looking to break a sweat in a supportive environment.
Ratio: 6 – 1
Playing Level: Intermediate or higher
In this intense fitness class, players will engage in fast-paced drills and scenarios to maximize their workout. Designed for experienced players and physically fit individuals, participants should be ready for a demanding session.
Ratio: 4 – 1
Playing Level: Novice, Intermediate, or High Intermediate/Advanced
Turbo Tennis offers fast-paced, coach-fed singles that provide an excellent workout and practice in various singles scenarios. Players will quickly rotate, enabling them to play significantly more points than in a regular singles game.
Player Assessments

To register for a program or round robin at the intermediate level or higher you will need to have a playing level saved on your account. Assessments run weekly or you can have a coach who has worked with you provide your assessment. You will notice that some programs are mixed levels, and some are just one level.

Player Assessments: Assessments are required for all Adult Intermediate and Advanced Tennis Programs.

Assessments are $10 per a person plus HST.
