Pickleball is a fast-growing paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It’s played on a smaller court with a low net, using a paddle and a perforated plastic ball.
Not at all! There are no Pickleball memberships at RSC – rent a court, take a program, or drop-in without a membership fee.
Here’s how to get started with Pickleball at RSC:
We use a skill-level system ranging from Novice to Advance. Use our Level Self-Assessment Tool to determine your level.
RSC Pickleball staff reserve the right to remove/move players from an Open Play, Drop-In, Program, or League if they do not belong to the proper level.
Drop-In and Open Play activities are a great way to meet new players. With multiple rounds organized within the same hour, you’ll have the chance to play both with and against different opponents.
We also encourage players to join our social events, offering a fun and engaging way to expand your pickleball network.
Additionally, connect with other pickleball players by joining our Facebook group.
Courts can be booked online through our website or app. You can also call our front desk for assistance with reservations.
Court bookings open at 7:00am 8 days in advance. Players can book in increments of 60, 90, or 120 minutes.
Court rentals are $30 (+HST) per hour per court.
Upon arrival, check-in is mandatory for all court bookings.
Cancellations can be done online or by contacting the Front Desk. A cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 24 hours of the booking (48 hours for Drop-Ins).
Open Play is a structured program where you commit to playing at the same day and time each week for a full session, with organized matchups based on skill level.
Drop-In is more flexible, allowing you to sign up weekly without a long-term commitment, with matchups also organized by level. Both are great for improving your game and meeting new players!
